RRB NTPC JOBS :: 35208 vacancies.

Railway recruitment board had announced 35208 vacancies in Non-technical Popular Category. There are various posts in this category , like --- Station Master, Goods guard, Commercial cum Tickets clerks, Train clerk , junior clerk cum typist , Junior account assistant cum typists , Commercial apprentice, senior time keeper, junior time keeper etc. in various railway zones across India.
Advertisement was released on 28/02/2019 , online registration to apply this post was started on 01/03/2019 and last date was 31/03/2019. Initially the vacancies was 35277 . But in latest advertisement , RRB reduced the vacancies to 35208.
Minimum Qualifications for the posts are 12th, Graduation.

EXAM PATTERN ::
The recruitment process shall involve 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable) and Document Verification/Medical Examination.
CBT-1 is common for all aspirants .
CBT-1 exam pattern ::
- Duration -- 90 minutes (120 min for PwBD)
- Full marks - 100
- Each question will carry 1 marks
- There will be negative marking . 1 marks will be deducted for each 3 wrong answers.

SYLLABUS FOR CBT EXAMS::
Syllabus for CBT-1 and CBT-2 are same and are likely to include questions pertaining to:
- Mathematics: Number System, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportions, Percentage, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Elementary Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics etc
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: Analogies, Completion of Number and Alphabetical Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical Operations, Similarities and Differences, Relationships, Analytical Reasoning, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagrams, Puzzle, Data Sufficiency, Statement- Conclusion, Statement- Courses of Action, Decision Making, Maps, Interpretation of Graphs etc.
- General Awareness: Current Events of National and International Importance, Games and Sports, Art and Culture of India, Indian Literature, Monuments and Places of India, General Science and Life Science (up to 10th CBSE), History of India and Freedom Struggle, Physical, Social and Economic Geography of India and World, Indian Polity and Governance- constitution and political system, General Scientific and Technological Developments including Space and Nuclear Program of India, UN and Other important World Organizations, Environmental Issues Concerning India and World at Large, Basics of Computers and Computer Applications, Common Abbreviations, Transport Systems in India, Indian Economy, Famous Personalities of India and World, Flagship Government Programs, Flora and Fauna of India, Important Government and Public Sector Organizations of India etc.
CBT-1 EXAM DATE (Likely) ::
First stage computer based test (CBT-1) was tentatively scheduled between June to September 2019. But due to some concerns is was postponed . Then the COVID-19 pandemic attacked in India . This made more difficult to conduct the Exams . Therefore it was further postponed. According to new notification of RRB CHENNAI it is clear that Pre-Bid conference will be held on 03/07/2020 at 11:00 hours at RRB Chennai's office for Engaging Exam Conducting Agency (ECA) for conducting multiple stages of Computer Based Test, Computer Based Aptitude/Typing Skill Test, Document Verification and all other related services in connection with Centralized Employment Notice (CEN) No.01/2019 for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) all over India.
After that there will be the scrutiny of that application forms , then the exam dates will be declared of the situation be under control. So, CBT-1 Exam is likely to be conducted between November-December 2020. But official it was not declared. Wait for the further notification or new updates from RRB .
